Relational Leadership Development

Relational leadership development sits at the heart of my organisational work.

I believe workplaces thrive when relationships are understood and tended to. Culture is not built through policies alone. It is shaped in everyday interactions. In how power is used. In how difference is welcomed. In how conflict is navigated.

Drawing on over twenty years of practice and eight years working psychotherapeutically, I bring a deep curiosity about people and the systems they inhabit. We look at attachment patterns, communication styles and the unspoken stories that shape teams and leadership cultures.

This work is not about creating perfect leaders. It is about cultivating awareness. When leaders understand themselves and the relational dynamics around them, they can create environments where people feel seen, valued and able to thrive.

At its core, relational leadership development is about building cultures that are both effective and deeply human.

1 to 1 Relational Leadership Development

Leadership can be lonely.

On the outside, it may look as though you are holding everything together. On the inside, you might be carrying questions, uncertainty or the quiet weight of responsibility. One to one relational leadership development offers a space to pause and think about how you are leading, and how you are being shaped by the systems around you.

My background as a relational integrative therapist means I am deeply interested in how we relate. Leadership is not just about strategy or performance. It is about relationships. The relationship you have with your team, with your organisation and with yourself.

Together we explore the stories you carry about leadership. Where they came from. How they serve you. Where they may be limiting you. We think about power, culture, communication and the patterns that show up in moments of pressure.

This is a reflective and collaborative space. A place to step out of the noise and reconnect with the kind of leader you want to be. Grounded. Thoughtful. Human.

Group Relational Leadership Development

Leadership does not happen in isolation, even if it can feel that way.

Group relational leadership development brings leaders together to think collectively about the realities of leading people. There is something powerful about sitting with others who understand the complexity of responsibility, decision making and influence.

In these groups, we explore real experiences from your working lives. We notice what happens in the room between us as well as what happens in your organisations. The group becomes a live learning environment where patterns, roles and assumptions can be seen more clearly.

My role is to create a space that feels safe enough for honesty and spacious enough for depth. When leaders feel able to speak openly, something shifts. Confidence grows. Perspective widens. Connection strengthens.

Often the greatest learning comes not from being given answers, but from being invited into thoughtful conversation.

How does it work?

  • Relational leadership development is available to both individuals and organisations who are seeking to strengthen the skills of their leaders.
  • Sessions are tailored to the needs of the individual accessing the sessions creating a bespoke programme of self-development.
  • The frequency of sessions and length of the programme is negotiated according to the needs of the individual and/or organisation.
  • Sessions are delivered online or face to face (where practical) at a time, place and pace which suits your needs.
