Hello, I’m Rachel
If you’ve found yourself here, you may be thinking about beginning therapy with me. Choosing a therapist is an important step. It matters that you feel you can connect, that you have a sense of how someone works and whether you might feel safe enough in their space.
So I’d like to share a little more about who I am, both professionally and personally, to help you get a feel for whether this might be the right place for you.
Who I Am As A Therapist
I originally trained as a holistic therapist and over the past nineteen years my practice has continued to grow and evolve. For the last seven years I have worked psychotherapeutically as a relational integrative therapist.
Through both my professional work and my own lived experience, I have developed a deep curiosity about people and the ways we relate to one another. Supportive, meaningful relationships sit at the heart of wellbeing and fulfilment. They shape how we see ourselves and how we move through the world.
I am particularly interested in the stories we carry. The narratives that help us make sense of our experiences, our relationships and our identities. Sometimes these stories support us. At other times they quietly limit what we believe is possible.
In therapy, we gently explore these stories together. With care and curiosity, we can begin to understand where they came from, how they have served you, and whether they might be ready to shift.
